'The Witcher: Blood Origin' fails to impress audience

Everything is not okay with "The Witcher: Blood Origin" series. What once seemed like it could be Netflix’s answer to Game of Thrones seems to be in serious trouble! After Henry Cavill stepped down from The Witcher, the show received much criticism and backlash. But the makers of the show were pretty confident that expanding the show, sharing more light on the Witcher world and making a prequel would gain the audience's trust. The new universe of the Witcher: Blood origin failed to impress its audience and seems to be going disastrous. With its first two seasons, both The Witcher and the protagonist of the series Geralt of Riva played by Henry Cavill received favorable reviews from critics and viewers. The storyline, dialogues, VFX and the character introductions were praised. But the prequel did not receive the same understanding.

The storyline of the series narrates the story of the first Witcher, the world of magic was created and what happened before the world seperated from monoliths, humans and witches.

However, bad news is what people are actually watching may make them wish they had not bothered. The series has literally the worst audience score. In Rotten Tomatoes, 35 percent from critics said that the show is meaningless, unattractive and will not pace up. Some mentioned that it is worse than the 365 Day movie series.

The Witches prequel has become Netflix's lowest scored show to date, sitting at only eight percent. To make the scenario worse, the critics even made a comparison with Netflix's first season of Resident Evil that had an audience score of 22 percent.
