Michael Irvin, the very famous personality who belongs to the NFL Hall of Famer pretty recently made a shocking claim that during the fight Mike Tyson was contract bound to not use body shots and uppercuts on Jake Paul.

NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin has recently raised suspicions about the legitimacy of the recent boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson while suggesting it might have been totally staged. According to Complex, during a show of his podcast named ‘It Is What It Is’, Michael Irvin claimed that a clause in the fight contract prevented Mike Tyson from fully engaging in the bout specifically restricting him from using body shots and uppercuts on Jake Paul.

Complex reported that Michael Irvin placed an argument that the fight eventually lacked authenticity while stating that ‘They had no intentions to really scrap at all’ and also noted the absence of Mike Tyson's signature uppercut during the match.

The fight concluded with Jake Paul winning by unanimous decision, with judges scoring it 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73, asserted Complex. It was certainly noticed during the bout that Mike Tyson landed only 18 punches out of 97 attempts while Jake Paul connected on 78 out of 278.

Another prominent personality DJ Whoo Kid also echoed Michael Irvin's concerns while suggesting that both fighters were legally bound not to hit each other hard, noted Complex.

During the post-fight press conference, Jake Paul eventually admitted that he held back his power to avoid hurting Mike Tyson unnecessarily.
