Now, the American-Canadian is returning to Hollywood with The Whale.
The movie premiered at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday night, where the actor got a standing ovation for no less than six minutes. And that marks Brendan Fraser's return to the big stage. The renowned actor's performance has received rave reviews. Writing for the BBC, Nicholas Barber stated that Brendan Fraser deserved an Oscar for his brilliant performance.
