The Walking Dead season 18 is in its penultimate stages, with the season finale scheduled for November 20. The 18th episode, titled “A New Deal,” aired on October 9 and had elements that gave all the fans to cheer in unison. Here’s a recap for the entire episode (spoiler alert!).

The standoff between Daryl and Lance’s troopers escalated just before Carol, Pamela, and Mercer. Though the three compel Daryl to surrender, he ends up stabbing Lance in hand. As indicated in the last episode, Carol had struck a deal with the Commonwealth governor that allowed her group to run away with the supplies to rebuild their community.

Meanwhile, Lance replaced Sebastian on the hot seat. Max, who wasn’t happy about the new arrangement, like other Commonwealth denizens, tricked Pamela’s son into ranting about the stupidity of Commonwealth citizens. He secretly records Sebastian’s rant, where he confesses to the game being rigged to ensure that the poor stay poor and the rich become richer.
