'The Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai’: New anime promotional video of film released, here's what's special

Souichi Masui directed the new anime, and the series is composed by Masahiro Yokota. Satomi Tamura designed the characters. Clover works again to produce the anime.

Kaito Ishikawa is Sakuta Azusagawa; Asami Seto takes the role of Mai Sakurajima, while Yurika Kubo takes the role of Kaede Azusagawa. The cast includes Nao Touyama as Tomoe Koga, and Atsumi Tanezaki played the role of Rio Futaba. They also have Maaya Uchoda as Nodoka Toyohama and Inori Minase as Makinohara.

The story of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai series shows young girls who suffer from Adolescence Syndrome receiving help from Sakuta Azusagawa. The problems these teen girls face in society are generally set aside by Sakuta Azusagawa.


The stories are published by Kadokawa and written by Hajime Kamoshida. The illustrations are by Keji Mizoguchi, and Dengeki Bunko published these beautiful creations in December 2020.


The series is about Sakuta and Mai already knowing each other, but the duo don’t have much time together as both are leaving their respective school and college; Mai is a senior and has just completed her third year. In the meantime, Sakuta’s sister Kaede is venturing out again. She plans to attend her brother’s high school. Sakuta is unsure whether Kaede is doing the right thing, but he hopes to support her.
