The Pitt season 2, what time it comes out tonight, and where to watch
HBO Max’s medical drama “The Pitt” is back with Season 2 tonight, Jan. 8, exactly one year after Season 1 first aired. Like Season 1, Season 2 has 15 episodes, and the full season shows one 15-hour ER shift, with each episode covering about one hour. Season 2 is set during the Fourth of July Weekend, about 10 months after the events of Season 1.

The story will show Dr. Langdon’s (Patrick Ball) first day back in the ER after he went for counseling and rehab for prescription painkiller addiction, as stated by NY Post. Dr. Langdon’s return happens on the same day as Dr. Robby’s (Noah Wyle) last ER shift before he leaves for a three-month sabbatical.

Main star doctors from “The Pitt”

The show stars “ER” actor Noah Wyle, who plays senior doctor Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch. Season 2 will air weekly on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET, starting Jan. 8. Season 1 won five Primetime Emmy Awards, including wins for Noah Wyle, supporting actress Katherine LaNasa, and guest actor Shawn Hatosy. The first episode of Season 2 drops on Jan. 8, and new episodes will continue every Thursday until April 16, as mentioned by NY Post. New episodes release at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on HBO Max. To watch, viewers need an HBO Max subscription if they do not have HBO on cable.
