The most calorie-dense Christmas sandwiches in Britain discovered, one of which had 1.5 times the calories of a Big Mac
Christmas sandwiches which are very high in calories were recently discovered in a study. These sandwiches have a lot of salt which is yet again very harmful for thr body.

Options available at stores like M&S, Starbucks, and Pret can have as much salt as ten Walkers crisp packets and as much sugar as one and a half Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
This year's sandwich options include brie and cranberry baguettes, pigs in blanket toasties, and Christmas supper sandwiched between slices of bread.
The Festive Feast Wrap at Asda contains 824 calories. And that's prior to including food or drink. It has stuffing, smoked bacon, turkey, sausages, gravy mayo, and cranberry chutney.
In contrast, a Big Mac from McDonald's has 493 calories. The daily consumption of calories for men per day should be 2,500 calories whereas women are recommended to limit their intake to 2,000 calories or less.
The next worst offender, with 702, was Pret's Christmas Lunch Baguette, which was loaded with turkey, cranberry sauce, pork stuffing, and crispy onions. Because baguettes are often served in greater portions than sandwiches, they tend to have higher calorie content.
With three slices of bread and a ton of chicken, bacon, stuffing, and chutney, the Christmas Cracker Club Sandwich has 661 calories, which is more than three Kit Kat Chunky bars.
On the other hand, Asda's Festive Feast Wrap had the greatest salt level and the highest calorie count. It has almost 3.7g, more than half of the daily limit of salt per day for adults.
Consuming a lot of salt can be very harmful to the body. It increases pressure on the blood vessel walls and ultimately raises blood pressure. Over time, this may make heart disease and stroke more likely.
