Saturday evening at Pelican Golf club witnessed some extreme turns of events. What was supposed to be a welcoming of Tiger Woods soon turned into a beatdown.

The Match coming to its conclusion

Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth squared off against Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. The four of them are the biggest names in Golf and made for a one-of-a-kind event.

The event started with Woods going for birdie to halve the opening hole early in the event. Spieth and Thomas - who combined have five major titles - dominated from the start. They claimed holes two, three and four before American Woods and Northern Ireland's world number one McIlroy pulled one back on the seventh.


As the team could each choose only one club, Spieth and Woods went for 4-iron and 5-wood, and Mcllroy and Woods chose 3-iron and 5-iron

The duo of Thomas and Spieth slowly became undefeatable and got a lead of 3 UP.

The finishing touches to the Match were added through a couple of pars and two birdies, leading to Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth winning.
