‘The Magician’s Elephant’: See cast members, expected release date of this upcoming animation movie

A new animated feature film ‘The Magician’s Elephant’ may get released on Netflix this year.

This Netflix Original family film is being directed by Wendy Rogers and has been written by Martin Hynes, who adapted the story from Kate DiCamillo’s 2009 novel of the same name.

On this project, the production companies, Animal Logic and Netflix Animation, are working. The executive producers of this movie are Julia Pistor and Jennifer Teter.


The movie is about the journey of an orphaned boy, who is looking for his lost sister.

Cast Members

Noah Jupe is lending his voice to Peter. Jupe has also starred in a Netflix Original film, The Titan, earlier. He had played the role of Lucas.

Benedict Wong gives his voice to the character of The Magician. Wong has starred in three Netflix Originals, Marco Polo as Kublai Khan, Annihilation and as the voice of The General in ‘The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance’.

Pixie Davies will give voice over for Adel. The young actor has starred as Annabel Banks in Mary Poppins Returns, and Bronwyn Bruntley in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

Production Status

In February 2021, the filming had begun and came to an end in June 2021. It is still in post-production.

Expected Release Date

Netflix has till now not officially shared any release date for the movie. But, as per speculations, the film may get released in March 2023.
