The Lost City - Will the Sandra Bullock film gross $100 million for Paramount?

Sandra Bullock takes on the top stars of Hollywood to launch her 11th "100 million grosser" in the "Lost City", and makes herself bankable like Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise without the 6 "Mission Impossible" and 4 "Toy Story" support.

The noise this summer is about the "Lost City". Hitting 45 days in the domestic theatres, Sandra Bullock is the "bankable" star of Hollywood after all. She has her 11th "100 million Grosser" alongside Leonardo Di Caprio, to give you the feel of what she is all about in the female category. This movie took 70 Million Dollars to make and is just 5 million dollars behind the "100 million mark".

However, Paramount has already announced that this would be streamed online as per the rules and fans could grab a glimpse of their femme fatale aka "Sandra Bullock" at her hilarious best for free. Could this jeopardize the 100 million dollars grosser is what time would tell. Many movies like Batman or Spider Man didn't fall in making money even though they were streamed online. So hopefully Sandra Bullock fans could still hit the theatres and help ring the cash machines.

Sandra Bullock has been a dependable star for years now and she seems to be earning the halo for herself and deservedly so. She comes at par with Scarlett Johansson in the "100 million" category and is a step behind "Pretty Woman" Julia Roberts who has already clinched her 12th "100 million grosser". A film coming during the COVID era and standing steadfast during the 2nd to the 7th week has surely lot on its plot that the viewers would enjoy. A treat for all ages it has got a humble 6.5 IMDB rating, with 82% of the viewers liking the film. The "Lost City" is a romantic comedy with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum in the lead along with suitable frames for Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt.

The story is about a novelist (Sandra) going off in search of the "Lost City" from her latest novel, after being kidnapped by a millionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) who is slightly off his head. Of course, her novel's hero, who appears on the cover of all her books (Channing Tatum) decides to help rescue her to prove he is a real life hero.

Well, you can rely on the entertainment quotient having such a strong star cast and decent reviews. That the movie has made nearly a 100 million already in the domestic circuit, with the international moolah yet to be unveiled is another factor that pushes the credibility of Sandra Bullock in an elevated pedestal. Paramount is really privileged on having Sandra Bullock, who can carry the mantle of a star that has it's producers singing all the way to the bank, the free viewership on paramount plus notwithstanding.
