TNT is bringing back The Librarians universe with a new spin-off series titled The Librarians: The Next Chapter. The show will premiere over two nights, starting on Sunday, May 25, and continuing with a second episode on Monday, May 26. The series will then air new episodes every Monday night.

Plot

The Librarians: The Next Chapter continues the world built in the original series. It follows Vikram Chamberlain, a time traveler, who finds himself stuck in the present. He returns to his castle in Belgrade, Serbia, only to discover it has been turned into a museum. His return accidentally releases magic across the continent.

Vikram must fix the situation within six months. He is not alone in this effort. He is joined by a team that includes a world history expert, a science specialist, and a skilled Guardian. Each of them plays a key role in cleaning up the magical mess.

Cast and Characters

Callum McGowan plays Vikram Chamberlain. Jessica Green plays Charlie Cornwall, also known as the Guardian. Olivia Morris appears as Lysa Pascal, while Bluey Robinson portrays Connor Green. Christian Kane returns as Jacob Stone. Kane will help Charlie become a Guardian under the Library’s guidance.

Episode Count and Trailer

The series will feature twelve episodes. The team will go on many adventures. These include a visit to a manor with murders, a journey to Camelot during King Arthur’s time, and a meeting with the first vampire.

Production Team

Dean Devlin is the showrunner and executive producer. He is joined by Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson. Noah Wyle, who starred in the original franchise, is also a producer. Other producers include Mark Franco and Jonathan English.
