‘The Last of Us’ to showcase 9 episodes on HBO: See release schedule

The wait is over for those eager to watch new episodes of HBO’s The Last of Us. The story is based on a video game, which goes by the same name as the series. The story revolves around a cynical man named Joel, played by Pedro Pascal, who becomes a disinclined protector for young Ellie, played by Bella Ramsey.

The Last of Us was given in the capable hands of Chernobyl's Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, the key creative force of the original 2013 game. And it looks to have paid off, since the first season of the programme presently boasts a 97% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes.

As the show moves ahead, Pascal and Ramsey are the only two main cast members, with recurring and guest performers including Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, Nico Parker, Nick Offerman, and Murray Bartlett.


Each episode of The Last of Us will be showcased on HBO on Sunday at 9 pm EST and will also be available on HBO Max at the same time. The next episode will be broadcasted on January 22 at 9 pm EST.
