The International 2023: Group matches, playoffs, tickets, tournament and all you need to know

As The International 2023 will take place in Seattle, Washington less than two months from now, its sale of tickets will begin soon. The North American city will host Dota 2’s biggest competition for the first time since 2017. Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game owned by Valve. Before Valve decided to take The International to other cities like Singapore, Shanghai, Bucharest and Vancouver, the IT was held in Seattle.

The International 2023: 2 phases

The organizers have split The International 2023 into two phases. The first phase, Road to The International, includes both the group stage and the Playoff. The group stage will be held from October 12 to 15, while the playoff will be held on October 20-22. The second phase will be the Finals Weekend and will be held October 27-29.

The International 2023: Sale of Tickets

The tickets for the Playoffs at Seattle Convention Center’s Summit Building will go on sale on August 28 at 10 a.m. PT or 6 p.m. BST on Ticketmaster. A single-day ticket will cost $99 and fees per ticket.

The tickets for The International at the Climate Pledge Arena October 27-29 will go on sale on August 25 at 10 a.m. PT or 6 p.m. BST on Ticketmaster. The ticket will be sold as a three-day pass and it will cost $699 and fees per pass.

The International 2023: 20 teams

A total of 20 Dota 20 teams will participate in The International 2023. It will bring the best Dota 2 teams together for one final round after a long Dota Pro Circuit season with three tours.

Last year in Singapore, Tundra Esports defeated Team Secret in the final and took $8.5 million as the prize money.
