Mo Wan II is making his directorial debut for The Frog. It is an impending South Korean Netflix Original mystery thriller series. Mo Wan II has earlier directed The World of the Married, the most hit cable K-drama existing in history. Studio Flow and Studio LuluLaLa are the production companies producing The Frog.

The Frog is going to be released in Q3 of 2024. But this does not mean that fans are waiting for Netflix to announce a whole new release date.

The Frog: Plot

The Frog revolves around the story of two men called Sang Joon, running a motel in a rural region at the time of summer 2000 and Young Ha running a pension solo in the forest during summer 2021.

The Frog: Cast

The Frog has a thrilling cast with some faces who are familiar from earlier Netflix projects.
Kim Yoon Seok will be playing the lead character of Jeon Young Ha and it will be his official debut, who earlier has acted in Korean movies such as Another Child, 1987, and The Chaser. Lee Jung Eun will be portraying the lead role of Yoon Bo Min and Go Min So will play the lead character of Yoo Seong Ha.

The rest of the cast members are Ha Yoon Kyung as Yoon Bo Min (Young), Park Ji Hwan as Jong Du, and Ryu Hyun Kyung as Seo Eun Kyung.

The Frog: Production status

The filming for Frog started in the early part of April 2023 running till mid-September 2023. The series has been in the post-production phase for many months. The Frog will be arriving with eight episodes in total with the run times of the episode yet to be disclosed.
