The final draft features famous stars, including Juraj Slafkovsky, Shane Wright, Simon Nemec and Logan Cooley. These four are expected to rank at the top, with Wright being the first.
The NHL Draft for 2022 will be held across ten days in Montreal, Canada and also features the home team, Montreal Canadiens, being the first.
The draft includes noteworthy trades that occurred in the past. This year too, there might be trades with the New Jersey Devils trading their second spot if they believe their return is worth the cost of the trade. Teams might also go for the salary capping concept, which happened in the past when The Vegas Golden Knights chose to trade Evgenii Dadonov for Shea Weber from the Montreal Canadiens.
Though different teams have multiple picks, the interesting teams would be the Canadiens as they perform in front of their home crowd, the Devils as they waver on trading their spot and the Sabres. The Sabres have three picks they can use to make their team for the next NHL season.
