The much-anticipated sequel to the renowned horror classic "The Exorcist" has finally made its debut, bringing delight to horror enthusiasts. Ellen Burstyn reprises her role as Chris MacNeil in the film "The Exorcist: Believer," which is written and directed by David Gordon Green, recognized for his work on the "Halloween" franchise.

In "The Exorcist: Believer," we are introduced to two young girls who become possessed after a harrowing experience. Burstyn's character, Chris MacNeil, steps in to offer her help, drawing from her own past encounter with demonic possession. The story centers around Victor Fielding (played by Leslie Odom, Jr.), who has been raising his daughter, Angela (Lidya Jewett), on his own since the tragic death of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake. When Angela and her friend Katherine (Olivia Marcum) mysteriously disappear in the woods only to return three days later with no memory of what transpired, a series of terrifying events unfold. Victor, desperate for answers, seeks help from Chris MacNeil, the only person who has encountered such evil before.

Joining Burstyn in the cast are Ann Dowd, Okwui Okpokwasili, Jennifer Nettles, and Raphael Sbarge, promising a stellar ensemble performance.
