The trailer of "The Continental" is out now. Peacock's latest offering is the newest addition to the "John Wick" franchise. This miniseries, led by Mel Gibson, serves as a prequel to the Keanu Reeves-starring films. The story revolves around Winston Scott (portrayed by Colin Woodell), who becomes the owner of The Continental, a well-known chain of hotels he establishes as a neutral sanctuary for assassins.

Set against the backdrop of New York City in the 1970s, "The Continental" presents a captivating homage to the era. The series incorporates Donna Summer tracks, scenes reminiscent of Studio 54's vibrant atmosphere, and an abundance of firearm action juxtaposed with the city's gritty and shadowy streets. Initially generating interest in 2017, this Lionsgate Television venture was initially intended for release on Starz.
