Though a particular date has not been confirmed, the 59-year-old clued that the matchup could take place soon. “I have no idea, maybe in March or April,” he cited.

“As long as Floyd will come back. I'm active in boxing, it's possible. There is talk. Like I said, I'm happy to start talking about, discussing a possible rematch with Floyd. Of course, there's a good chance to have a rematch because I'm still active – it's only if he will come back that's possible.”

Pacquiao further said: “I've been motivated since after the fight. After the operation, I was OK to get back in the ring and fight again. Right now, God is good and giving me strength and good health to continue my career as a boxer.”
