Madonna announces dates of 'The Celebration Tour' to commemorate four decades of hits

Madonna has come up with a global tour to celebrate her 40th anniversary in the music industry.

In a raunchy five-minute video, Madonna has announced a world tour to honor four decades of hits on Tuesday (January 17). The dates to the 35-city ‘The Celebration Tour’ were announced in the clip looking to pay homage to her iconic 1991 documentary, Truth or Dare. It featured an NC-17 dinner party, where Judd Apatow, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter, Lil Wayne, Bob the Drag Queen, Diplo, Jack Black, Kate Berlant, Eric Andre and Amy Schumer were present.

The tour, which will be produced by Live Nation, will begin in North America on July 15 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. It will also reach Chicago, New York, Detroit, Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco before getting wrapped up in Las Vegas on October 7. Then, it will move to Europe, where it will begin in London at the O2 Arena on October 14 and end in Amsterdam on December 1 at the Ziggo Dome.

In a statement, Madonna said, “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for.”


On all the dates, Bob the Drag Queen will be a special guest. Tickets will go on sale on January 20 and 27.
