The Boys Season 4: Everything you may want to know

The Boys Season 4 will not be out on Amazon Prime Video as planned this September. The list featuring the various web series premiering on the platform this September is unfortunately not showing the name of The Boys Season 4. Knowing how captivating the series is, we have no option but to wait until it is out. This epic Superhero series has taken the world by storm and would ultimately provide the satisfaction of seeing it and justify the wait.

Hopefully, the wait will not be that long, considering the series's production, which is going on at a rapid pace. We can make a wild guess knowing the state of production of the series.

For the moment, we don't have a premiere date. In reality, we don't expect the show to premiere in this year, 2022, or, for that matter, at this time next year. Apparently, "The Boys" takes around 14 to 15 months for a series to complete production. Therefore, setting aside the pandemic year, which halted everything, there needs to be a 14-15 months gap between the 3rd and 4th series. So in that context, we think that September 2023 is the ideal premiere date for "The Boys Season 4" to be out.


Amazon is expected to continue with the weekly format of the releases as they are used to and as the author, Erik Kripke had wanted. Someone posted a review of what Season 4 entails, and it has come up as nothing more than guesswork.

"The Boys" crew are holed up in Canada and were expected to begin their shoot on August 22. So, the work for the shoot has begun recently and will be over in March 2023. According to Entertainment Weekly, the post-production work begins in April and will be over in 6-8 months. That means the show cannot premier before September to November 2023.
