Storyline

"The Bikeriders," written and directed by Jeff Nichols, is inspired by Danny Lyon's 1967 book and photography. The film portrays a period of change in America, focusing on the lives of members of the Midwestern motorcycle club, the Vandals.


In the film, Kathy, played by Jodie Comer, meets Benny, a new member of the Vandals, at a local bar. The club, led by Johnny (Tom Hardy), starts as a haven for local outsiders but turns into a violent underworld. Benny must choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club.

The film also stars Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, Mike Faist, and Norman Reedus. Producers Sarah Green and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones worked with Nichols through their company, Tri-State.
