Thanks BTS' V unveils debut solo album 'Layover' set for September release — Details
In an exciting revelation for fans of BTS, the internationally renowned K-pop group, member V has unveiled his upcoming debut solo album.

An Artistic Sequence
The announcement was accompanied by a strategic suggestion from BIGHIT Music for fans of the group, known as ARMY. The label advised that the album's tracks be experienced sequentially from 1 to 5. The pinnacle of this melodic journey is "Slow Dancing," aptly heralded as the focal point of the compilation. Described as a "1970s romantic soul style track," it promises to evoke a relaxed and unburdened sentiment.
A Visual Prelude
As per the signature move by BTS, the announcement was revealed by a 15-second visualizer. This intriguing video had a list of albums gracefully descending onto a balcony of an apartment building. The sequence climaxed with the album's title, portrayed in bold white letters, with the distinct "V" elegantly rendered in purple.

Among the array of tracks, "Love Me Again" emerges as a captivating R&B piece that accentuates V's distinctive deep voice. On the other hand, "For Us" assumes the form of a pop R&B creation, serving as an emotional epilogue while weaving V's expressive vocals and distinct lyrics. Notably, each of the five-album tracks will be accompanied by official music videos.
Creative Collaboration
V's artistic endeavor has been enriched by a creative collaboration with NewJeans creative director and ADOR president, Hee Jin Min. BIGHIT Music revealed that Min has taken charge of every facet of the album's production, encompassing music, choreography, design, and promotion.
V's previous solo achievements include tracks like "Stigma," "Singularity," "Winter Bear," and "Inner Child." Among his most recent compositions are the 2021 release "Christmas Tree," featured on the soundtrack of Netflix's K-drama "Our Beloved Summer," and his rendition of the holiday classic "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas."
