Texas A&M student Tanner Hoang, who went missing on graduation day, found dead

Tanner Hoang, a Texas A&M student who went missing on the day of his graduation, has apparently been discovered dead. He has been missing since December 16, 2022, according to authorities. However, after much investigation and searching, Hoang's corpse was recovered on Saturday in Pennybacker Bridge in Austin (December 24).

The death of Tanner Hoang was verified Saturday night by a Facebook group called “Finding Tanner Hoang”, which has over 14,000 followers.

Following the student's absence from a lunch meeting on the day of his college graduation, the student's family filed a report with the authorities that he was missing. After discovering Hoang's silver Lexus vehicle on Friday, the picture got even more dire for everyone involved.


According to the authorities, the student's body was recovered following an eight-day search. He was reported missing after December 16, with his phone turned off. However, authorities have not identified the cause of death for the 22-year-old student. This all happened barely a day after Hoang's automobile was spotted in the city. Last Friday, the automobile passed through Elgin on Highway 290, less than an hour after refueling for gas in Caldwell. Furthermore, the police have published CCTV footage of the incident.



His uncle, Bao Hoang, said earlier this week, "He was meant to graduate, but I'm not sure what happened that caused him to leave".

Hoang was last seen on the morning of December 16, according to officials. His family stated they were headed to his graduation at the College Station school and reported him missing when he did not show up for lunch before the ceremony.
