Seth MacFarlane has been entertaining audiences on television with his animated sitcoms surrounding broken families for years now. He is known for Griffins in Family Guy and Smiths in American Dad.

Currently, he is back again with another new show which is based on his two earlier movies Ted and Ted 2. It revolved around the story of John Bennett, a Boston native of around 20 years, living a joyous yet emotionally restricted life along with Ted, his friend, and a badmouthed talking teddy bear who came to his life when he was ten years old.

The film is set in 1993. Post the opening sequence in the original Ted, the series portrays the initial life of this talking teddy as he lives with John Bennett as well as his family in Massachusetts.
