Technical glitch delays Monday's Powerball lottery draw
Those waiting patiently for the Powerball numbers to be drawn on Monday night will have to wait a bit longer. The reason is here.

The Multi-State Lottery Association told The Associated Press that the reason for the delay was that a participating lottery needed more time to complete their security protocols. "There is no specific time for when the Powerball numbers will be announced," the Powerball website said around 2 a.m. Tuesday. Before a drawing can take place, all 48 countries must follow the security rules.
And it also stated that the results are still coming in, but it didn't say when the next drawing will be. When the numbers have been picked, the results will be posted on the game's website and on the Powerball YouTube channel.
After more than three dozen drawings without a winner, the Powerball jackpot has reached $1.9 billion, making Monday's drawing a historic one. It is not only the biggest Powerball jackpot ever but also the biggest prize ever won in a US lottery.
Powerball is played in 45 states, including Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET, there is a drawing.
