Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce wedding: Is the NYC location a red herring? Here's what reports say
Speculation surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding has intensified, with a celebrity planner casting doubt on the reported July 3 New York City ceremony. Earlier reports suggested a June 13 Rhode Island wedding. The conflicting deta...

Is the New York City wedding location real?
According to Page Six, the couple is set to marry on July 3 in New York City. However, celebrity wedding planner David Stark isn’t buying it.
Speaking to New York Magazine’s Curbed, Stark suggested the reported location could be intentional misdirection. “It could be anywhere in the world, and this is all just to throw everyone off the trail,” he said, hinting that privacy may be driving the narrative.
What alternative locations are being discussed?
Stark even floated his own idea, proposing Liberty Island as a possible venue. He noted its exclusivity and symbolism, especially over the Fourth of July weekend.
“We’d have a clear-top tent so you can see the statue, and in a perfect world, there’d be fireworks that you could see from the shore,” he said. “It’d be incredibly private because you get there by boat.”
Meanwhile, earlier reporting from Us Weekly suggested a completely different plan. A source claimed the wedding could take place on June 13 in Rhode Island, split between Swift’s Watch Hill estate and the Ocean House resort, as per a report by SheKnows.
“The guest list grew, so the ceremony and private gatherings associated with the wedding [will be split between the venues]” the insider shared, adding, “Taylor always has a plan B and C for every scenario.”
Why are fans rethinking everything now?
With conflicting reports—from Rhode Island to Manhattan—fans are beginning to question what’s real. The July 3 date from Page Six has gained traction, but doubts around the location continue to swirl.
