On Tuesday, eDreams ODIGEO, a Spanish online travel booking company, revealed that Taylor Swift's devoted fanbase, known as 'Swifties,' is driving a significant surge in air travel demand across Europe during her 'Eras' tour scheduled between May and August.

For instance, the demand for flights to Stockholm during May 17-19, coinciding with Taylor Swift's performance dates, has increased six-fold compared to the same period last year, according to eDreams. Similarly, the demand for flights to Warsaw, Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Paris in the days surrounding Swift's concerts has surged by 339%, 176%, 133%, and 108%, respectively.

The Barcelona-based travel firm noted that transatlantic demand is experiencing the most substantial rise, indicating strong interest from American Swifties eager to attend the European performances.

In addition to the top five cities, there has been notable growth in travel demand for Zurich, Lyon, Milan, Amsterdam, Vienna, and Madrid, where Taylor is scheduled to perform. This distinctive travel pattern underscores Taylor Swift's influential presence in the music scene and her substantial economic impact, a phenomenon previously observed and measured in the United States.
