Taylor Swift extends Eras Tour for two more days with additional shows at Wembley Stadium

Taylor Swift has extended her record-breaking Eras tour with two extra London shows at Wembley Stadium, scheduled for 19 and 20 August.

The initial six nights at the iconic venue had already sold out, prompting the addition of these extra dates, bringing her total performances at Wembley to eight. This achievement surpasses the previous record set by Take That during their 2011 Progress tour.

Swift's Eras tour has become a phenomenon, taking audiences on a musical journey through her diverse musical hits like "Love Story," "Anti-Hero," "All Too Well," and "Blank Space." The tour's popularity has elevated Swift's net worth to over $1 billion, with the global box office earnings reaching $242 million.


The additional London dates make the city the top host of Swift's Eras tour, overtaking Los Angeles and Singapore. The UK leg of the tour will also include performances in Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Liverpool.


US rock band Paramore, Swift's supporting the performance for all eight Wembley shows, announced the new dates on social media, with a limited number of fans receiving access to the pre-sale. The tour, known for its almost four-hour runtime, garnered attention in the US, where fans gathered in stadium car parks to listen to the show when unable to secure tickets.

Swift's recent performances in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the South American leg of the tour made headlines when she changed the lyrics of "Karma" to confirm her romance with American football star Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.

With ticket prices ranging from £58 to £194, the Eras tour has become a global sensation, with a cinematic release of a truncated set becoming the biggest concert film of all time, grossing $242 million worldwide.

Fans who had registered for the first batch of shows this summer will have access to the pre-sale for the additional London dates, reflecting the ongoing demand for Swift's unparalleled live performances.
