Landman, Taylor Sheridan’s new series, will debut on Paramount+ in November 2024. The show focuses on the oil industry in West Texas and is inspired by the popular Boomtown podcast.

Landman will premiere on November 17, 2024, on Paramount+. The first two episodes of Landman will be available on launch day, followed by weekly releases every Sunday. There are 10 episodes in total. In the UK, the show will arrive on November 18, 2024, on the same platform, Paramount+.

Plot

Landman takes place in West Texas and centers around the Norris family as they navigate the complicated and competitive politics of the oil industry. The show is based on the Boomtown podcast from 2019, which covered environmental concerns and the oil boom in Texas during the 21st century.

Landman Cast

Billy Bob Thornton leads the cast as Tommy Norris. Other cast members include Demi Moore as Cami, Jon Hamm as Monty Miller and Ali Larter as Angela. Michelle Randolph plays Ainsley Norris, while Jacob Lofland plays Cooper Norris. Michael Peña has also joined the cast, though his role has not yet been disclosed.
