Finally, the playoffs of the National Football League (NFL) are here. And it's time for Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys to show their mettle on the field.

In the National Football League (NFL) playoffs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys will clash on Monday (January 16).

The stage is set for the NFL playoffs and it is time to either win or pack bags to go home. Although the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be playing at home and have also won the NFC South, Dallas Cowboys seem to be the favorite to win, as per media reports. The Cowboys had finished second in the NFC East.

This comes as the Dallas Cowboys are going 12-5 in the season whereas the Bucs are struggling with just 8-9.


However, the Cowboys fared badly against the Washington Commanders. To ensure Cowboys win, Dak Prescott needs to perform well as he gave a dismal performance in the last match. Some previously injured players are also returning to the team, so it may be helpful for the Cowboys.

Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who has not had his best year till now, can anytime pose trouble for the Cowboys.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys match will be held on January 16, 2023 at 8:15 p.m. EST. The location is Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida.

Why will it be held on Monday?

The game will be featured on Monday night. The trend to hold a NFL prime-time playoff game for a day other than Saturday or Sunday had started last year. It was a part of the expanded postseason of the NFL. It now features seven teams from each conference and two additional wild-card games.

The NFL and ESPN had agreed to a five-year deal to bring wild-card games to Monday Night Football. So, till 2025, there will be an ‘MNF’ game on Super Wild Card Weekend every year.
