T-Mobile US Inc.'s customers experienced extensive service disruptions across the United States on Monday evening, as per websites tracking service interruptions. There were multiple reports of T-Mobile service outages across various regions in the country. Several Twitter users also confirmed the outages.

Users posted extensively about their services being switched to "SOS mode," which allows emergency calls to be made but doesn't provide direct network connectivity.

T-Mobile’s Neville Ray issued a statement about the outage via a tweet earl Tuesday. “We have seen significant improvement and are operating at near normal levels. Our teams continue to monitor and we greatly appreciate everyone’s patience. We apologize for any impacts this issue may have had for our customers,” T-Mobile’s President of Technology writes on microblogging platform.

However, the telecom giant didn’t immediately provide details regarding why the service was interrupted.

Within the past 24 hours, Downdetector.com charted a surge of over 69,000 service complaints during a two-hour duration, indicating a significant increase in reported outages.

Users who commented on the website reported being situated in various states, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Kansas, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and Washington.
