Sylvester Stallone denies 'wasting' marital assets in response to wife Jennifer Flavin's divorce filing

Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone's wife Jennifer Flavin filed for a divorce in August, shortly after the couple celebrated their 25th anniversary. Sylvester Stallone's lawyers responded to the accusations made by his wife, Jennifer Flavin, saying he was never involved in any actions leading to the squandering of marital wealth owned by the couple.

Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin's marriage woes were exposed soon after the couple celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this year. Flavin filed for a divorce on August 19 in Palm Beach County, Florida, which came as a shock to the fans. The Rocky star denied the accusations made by his wife, Flavin, of hiding and wasting marital assets, leading to an economic impact on their marital funds.

Claim to "exclusive use" of the Palm Beach Mansion.

Reportedly, both Stallone and Flavin have claimed "exclusive use" of their water front property, the Palm Beach Mansion, which Stallone bought for $35 million in December 2020. Jeffrey Fisher, who is Stallone’s attorney, wrote in the court papers filed on Monday responding to the allegations made by Flavin, wherein he mentioned that Stallone has not been engaged in any actions which establish intentional dissipation, depletion, and/or waste of marital assets. The declaration came in response to the claims made by Flavin, which alleged that as Stallone had been wasting their combined wealth since the split was announced, she should receive a larger portion of their divorce settlement.


In the declaration, it was agreed that Stallone and Flavin’s marriage was "irretrievably broken." Stallone did not object to his wife’s desire to reinstate her maiden name. He also asked that she look after her own legal bills.



If legal experts are to be believed, under Florida law, Flavin will be entitled to 50 per cent of any profits made during the period of their marriage, provided there is no prenuptial agreement which specifies otherwise. The Rambo star’s assets are worth $400 million, including earnings from movies and real estate.

Stallone married 29-year-old Flavin in 1997 when he was 51. Flavin is a former model and business woman from the San Fernando Valley in California. The couple share three daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet, all in their twenties now.

Flavin made an exclusive statement revealing that she was sad to announce the end of their 25-year marriage. She said that although they will no longer remain married, she will always cherish their 30+ year old relationship and they will both remain committed to their beautiful daughters. She asked for privacy as they amicably moved forward.

The Rocky actor also released a statement saying he loved his family and that they were amicably and privately addressing their personal issues.
