The series revolves around Mavis (played by Buteau), a newly single woman rebuilding her life as a struggling stylist. Co-created by Danielle Sanchez-Witzel ("The Carmichael Show," "New Girl"), the show is produced by A24. Linda Mendoza, Ravi Nandan, Alli Reich and Anne Hong serve as executive producers.
