Supreme Court Justice's wife Ginni Thomas likely to be summoned by US Capitol riots probe panel
Virginia Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is likely to be subpoenaed, according to Rep. Liz Cheney, vice chair of the House committee looking into the aggression on the US Capitol on January 6.

According to US House of Representatives Liz Cheney, the body's vice chair and a Wyoming Republican, the committee is communicating with Thomas' legal counsel.
Thomas, a conservative activist, has been invited to meet with the committee and submit papers that would be helpful to the probe.
Thomas and John Eastman, the former president Donald Trump's election lawyer, exchanged emails, and she also texted Trump's White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows. The texts reveal Thomas was pleading with Meadows to keep up the campaign to annul the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Additionally investigated by the committee were Eastman and Meadows. Thomas' attorney said last month that he does not believe there is now a sufficient basis to speak with Thomas in a letter to the House select committee.
Trump's criminal referrals have not yet been decided
Cheney's Plans
Cheney told Tapper her work on January 6 committee is the most important thing she has ever done professionally, adding that even if she lost her next reelection race due to her committee work, it would still have been valuable to serve on it.
