Supercopa de Espana 2023: All you need to know

The 2023 Supercopa de Espana (Spanish Super Cup) will take place in Saudi Arabia. It will see the four most successful Spanish clubs from the local leagues last season clash for the title.

As of 2019, the Supercopa de Espana is a four-team competition, and the mini-tournament will take place at a neutral venue (Saudi Arabia). Along with the two Copa del Rey finals, the Supercopa comprises the previous season's La Liga champions and runners-up.

Spanish Super Cup prize money

While the Supercopa de Espana's prize money is not nearly as large as what winners of the major European club championships take home, it nevertheless provides the victor with a respectable income.

Real Madrid and Barcelona will each receive €2.8 million in 2023, while Valencia will collect €1.7 million and Real Betis €750,000. The winner will then get €2 million as part of the competition, while the runner-up will receive €1 million.
