Super Mario RPG: Exact release time, how to unlock post-game and everything else you need to know

After nearly 27 years, Nintendo Switch is launching remake of Super Mario RPG which will be out for enthusiasts on November 17 or a day earlier depending on where you live.

Release time for different countries:

• November 16 at 9 PM PT (Los Angeles)
• November 16 at 10 PM MT (Denver)
• November 16 at 11 PM CT (Chicago)
• November 17 at 12 AM ET (New York)
• November 17 at 5 AM GMT (London)
• November 17 at 6 AM CET (Berlin)
• November 17 at 1 PM CST (Beijing)
• November 17 at 2 PM JST (Tokyo)
• November 17 at 4 PM AEDT (Melbourne)

How to unlock post-game?

• After rolling credits, you will be given a prompt to make a save for your “cleared” file where you’ve completed the game.
• After that what you need to do is save it and start in Mario’s house. Toad will give you a voucher for the Suite in Marrymore.
• Once you head to Marrymore, you should use the voucher. There will be a cutscene that will show Geno.
• Here, you need to leave and go towards Star Hill. Interact with purple Wish Stars where Geno will suggest you to talk to Frogfucius
• Head to Tadpole Pond and jump across to talk to Frogfucius. He’ll give you a line of dialogue telling you which boss can be challenged again. The first one is Belome, at Belome’s Temple. Head there and rematch the boss.
• After each boss, you can return to Frogfucius and know which boss you will meet.

Preload:

The new release weighs 6.4 GB. If you want to start playing the second it releases, then you should preload it right now.

How much time does it take to complete the game?
A playthrough will take you nearly 13 to 14 hours. This is just an estimate. Might take you more or less time depending on how much you choose to do and whether you’re playing through on Normal or the new “Breezy” difficulty, which makes battles easier.
