Bird and her team played tough against the best team in the league. Bird finished the game with eight points and eight assists, as the Storm lost another thriller game by 92-97, but there is no shame in going out like this. In league history, this was one of the best playoff series.

Bird said in an interview, "It's sad! But I am so grateful for the last 20 years here. I'm going to remember this all. I'm not departing, but I will miss playing and the thrill of being part of the game. I wish our team could have made it to the finals.
