The high pressure at the surface and air in the Mid-Atlantic region pushed Hurricane Nicole to the west. At a later point, a slowed-down Hurricane did turn North. However, the storm will likely pick up due to the upper-level low pressure in the Great Lakes.
• Steadier rain will start around the afternoon and likely continue until 5 pm.
• There are predictions for severe weather conditions from 5 to 8 pm, after which the downpours will subside.
• Some regions may have severe weather conditions until 2 am on Saturday.
• The rains might gradually reduce and end between 6 to 8 am on Saturday.
