"Strictly Come Dancing", BBC's popular programme, has been in the news for controversies. Two male dancers left the show following allegations of misconduct. BBC director-general Tim Davie on Tuesday revealed all details pertaining to the show's future.

Davie said that "Strictly Come Dancing" has been watched by millions of viewers for more than two decades. He said if someone has any complaint, it will be heard of and necessary action will be taken.

"Strictly Come Dancing" -- exported to over 60 other countries through the "Dancing with the Stars" franchise -- is the jewel in the crown of BBC light entertainment.

But in recent months it has faced controversy after former contestant and actor Amanda Abbington, said the show's intense training routine left her with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

"Sherlock" star Abbington's complaint triggered other revelations and allegations against the show's professional dancers, plunging it into turmoil.
