Deporation numbers continue to stay below the eye-catching levels and new US President Donald Trump is reportedly not happy about this. Trump had claimed that he would be carrying out the largest separation in US history as soon as he took office but it has already been a little more than two weeks but satisfactory deportation numbers in that aspect have still not been recorded, according to an Independent US report.

Deportation stat leaves Trump fuming, claim reports

According to an NBC News report, Donald Trump is currently furious and it is 'driving him nuts' that the immigration department is not deporting more people. However, the White House has promptly disputed this report and claimed that hundreds of illegal immigrants, including violent and predatory ones, have been rounded up and deported by ICE in the last couple of weeks. The White House also said in a statement that the Trump administration is working seriously on securing the national borders to reduce illegal immigration and also ensuring mass deportations happen quickly and efficiently, according to the Independent's report.

Immigration officials are reportedly much below the designated target of making 1,200 and 1,500 arrests a day, across their multiple ICE offices, but it has been tough for them making 1,000 arrests a day on a regular basis so far, claim reports. Meanwhile, the administration has also tried to present various reasons for the below-par arrest numbers so far.
