Stranger Things actor Grace Van Dien steps back from acting after producer’s sexual misconduct

Grace Van Dien, star of Stranger Things, has announced that she is taking a break from acting following some unsettling situations on set.

The 26-year-old actor, who portrayed cheerleader Chrissy Cunningham in the fourth season of the Netflix sci-fi thriller, revealed earlier this week on a Twitch live broadcast that she had started declining offers because she had lost faith in the acting business.

She informed her followers that she has observed some people are dissatisfied with her declining acting roles and choosing to stream more. She continued that the reality is that she hasn't had the nicest experiences with some of the folks she had to work with on her most recent assignments.


Grace Van Dien revealed that in one of the most recent films she worked on, a producer had hired a female with whom he was having an affair, and then he asked the Stranger Things star to have a threesome with them. She said, “I sobbed and felt terrible”.

She continued by saying that she had started working on her own projects and felt "happier" when performing her live streaming on the video game platform.
