Donald Trump is soon going to take over the role of the US President from Joe Biden, following his swearing-in ceremony at the US Capitol in Washington DC. Soon after, there are claims that Trump could issue a travel ban on major countries that have a dense Muslim population, which is already generating a massive uproar throughout the world.

IT sector worried about Donald Trump's travel ban

However, if this were indeed to happen, the education and IT sector would take the maximum hit, as there are thousands of international students and techies who may have travelled to their native countries for the holiday, and may return after Trump's inauguration ceremony.

Therefore, top tech titans are already beginning to caution foreign tech employees to return to the country as soon as possible, if they are to gain entry into the United States. According to an NY Post report, an immigration lawyer has recently showed concern that a storm is coming in soon, and there is no saying as to which way things will go. This major uncertainty is already affecting the international workers and students based in the US, as they are also fearing the deportation measures that are being planned by Donald Trump during his administration.
