Stick: Apple TV+ golf comedy show’s release date, episode schedule, where to watch, cast and plot

Apple TV+ has revealed the first images for Stick, a new comedy series featuring Owen Wilson. The show will follow the life of a former golfer who tries to mentor a young talent. 'Stick' will premiere on June 4 with three episodes, with new episodes airing weekly.

Cast

Besides Wilson and Peter Dager, the series includes Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer and Timothy Olyphant. Pro golfers, such as Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Max Homa and Wyndham Clark will make special appearances. Broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman will also appear, along with Matt Scharff, Brad Dalke, Garrett Clark and golf reporter Dan Rapaport.

Plot

Wilson plays Pryce Cahill, a former professional golfer whose career ended years ago. After a failed marriage and losing his job at a sporting goods store, he struggles with life. With little left to lose, he decides to mentor a 17-year-old troubled golf prodigy, Santi, played by Peter Dager. The show focuses on their relationship and the journey within the golf world.

Wilson is an executive producer alongside series creator Jason Keller. Other executive producers include Ben Silverman, Guymon Casady, Howard T. Owens, Rodney Ferrell, Drew Buckley and Lee Eisenberg.
