State of the Union Address: Here’s what to expect from US President Joe Biden’s second address
US President Joe Biden will give his second address to a Joint Session of Congress at the Capitol on Tuesday, February 7 at 9 pm ET.

Apart from his intention to run to become US President again, Biden can follow the suit of presidents from both parties who have previously upheld their respective agendas for the nation. State of the Union Address is known to have a political aspect and speechwriters for former US Presidents have revealed to media outlets that this year, Biden is expected to draw a contrast between Democrats and Republicans.
It is to note that Biden’s upcoming address on February 7 would also be his first such speech to a Congress where the House of Representatives is now Republican-controlled. Because of this reason, US President, who is a Democrat, is expected to strike a balance between his own party’s agenda and that of the audience.
Biden is also expected to follow a certain set of traditions linked to the State of the Union address such as pleas to end partisanship and get work done. He might also follow the ritual of greeting the newly elected House of Representatives speaker Kevin McCarthy.
Like his predecessors, Biden is also likely to touch upon unity in the backdrop of additional tensions over the discovery of classified documents in his personal files.
