Startling revelations have emerged after the year-long investigation into the cause of the implosion of the Titan submersible on its mission to reach the debris of the submerged cruise Titanic. Now it has been found that the supposed log transcription between the submersible and its mother ship was fabricated. It was circulated to the outside world that the members of Titan apprehended that the submersible would implode and collapse. But it has been found that nothing of this sort happened and what was circulated was false and the log was fake.

"Entire log is fake"

'The New York Times' has reported that the head of the government-appointed team to probe into the cause of the accident and the nature and authenticity of the communication log has said that the entire log is fake. Capt. Jason D. Neubauer has said that he did not find any evidence to suggest that the people onboard the Titan believed that the submersible would implode. Neubauer, who retired from the US Coast Guard and serves as Chairman of the Marine Board of Investigation said that he was confident that it was a fake transcript.

Neubauer expressed hope that the truth around the transcript would bring some comfort to the family of the five men inside the Titan that they didn’t suffer in their last moments.

Five onboard Titan perished

Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, and his son, Suleman, airline executive Hamish Harding, Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and Stockton Rush, the founder and Chief Executive of OceanGate died in the accident when the submersible imploded.

OceanGate chief ignored warnings

The experts have warned that the submersible might face “catastrophic” problems should it reach extreme depths, but the Chief Executive of OceanGate proceeded as planned earlier. The people onboard Titan hoped to reach the wreck some 4,375 yards below the ocean’s surface on June 18, 2023. But the submersible imploded much before that.
