A teaser for the forthcoming Star Wars film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, directed by Jon Favreau, popular for Iron Man and Chef is released. The movie continues featuring the storyline of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, which follows the journey of a bounty hunter traversing the galaxy’s fringes while safeguarding for Grogu, evading Moff Gideon. Favreau also co-produces along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Ian Bryce. Pedro Pascal reprises his character as Din Djarin, while Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White join the cast as Rotta the Hutt, Jabba’s son.

Plot and Continuation

The Mandalorian and Grogu extends on the streaming series by exploring the relationship between Din Djarin and Grogu, now formally his adopted son. The movie is set following the fall of the Galactic Empire in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. "To come back together and have the scale and scope of the big screen to tell a story with characters people already know in a brand-new adventure that can … part of what we’ve set out to do is something that rewards people who have been with the show since the beginning, who have been with Star Wars since the beginning. But since we’re on the big screen, it’s an opportunity to reach out to a whole new audience with a whole new adventure and certainly with Grogu certainly all the kids know who that is, and this is an opportunity to bring them to the theater."
