Soon after 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' and 'Star Wars: The Acolyte', another big Star Wars series will arrive on Disney+. Starring Jude Law and Kerry Condon, 'Star Wars: Skeleton Crew' will focus on a young generation of characters in a galaxy far. The next Star Wars series will revolve around four children, who discover something on Earth that propels them to a mysterious journey in a dangerous and unfamiliar galaxy.

Release Date

Talking to 'Collider' on the sidelines of CCXP, director Jon Watts said that the next Star Wars series will land on Disney+ around Christmas. 'Star Wars: The Acolyte' will premiere its first two episodes on June 4. With this, at least four Star Wars shows will stream on Disney+ in 2024, including the animated 'Star Wars: Tales of the Empire.'

However, according to 'starwarsnewsnet.com', actor Dane DiLiegro, who appears in the series, said Lucasfilm would aim for November to take advantage of the holidays.


Eight episodes

'Star Wars: Skeleton Crew's first season will have eight episodes. Other Star Wars series 'The Mandalorian', 'Ahsoka', and 'The Acolyte' also have eight episodes.

No official trailer has been released so far, but star Kerry Condon has praised the child actors in the series, calling them "out of this world."
