Star Wars: Andor review: Episode 11 showcases space battles, aliens

Star Wars series Andor has finally brought in some aliens in episode 11, setting up plenty of things for Episode 12, which will be the last episode of Season 1. The eleventh episode of Andor, titled "Daughter of Ferrix," was full of classic Star Wars things like colourful creatures and space battles against the Empire. The episode focussed on the subplots that were built up from the start of the series.

Although Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna) was in the background in Episode 11 most of the time, it was his escape from the Narkina 5 prison camp that set the pace for the episode. Besides, Cassian's escape brought in a new species of alien in the series. After their escape, Cassian and Melshi met a pair of Narkinians who were talking in riddles.

Interestingly, this was the first known appearance of the Narkinians. The latest episode also showed off some new items, including a Gungan shield. Episode 11 also suggested that there could be aliens throughout Andor, but they were in the background for most of the part. However, the Empire has retained its xenophobic credentials. Moreover, humans and aliens have also had different opinions regarding the Empire.




The eleventh episode was full of entertainment, and the season finale will likely be more exciting. "The Star Wars: Andor" is streaming on Disney+ and comes with new episodes every Wednesday.
