Born with a natural flair for humor, Lofranco described himself in a 2014 interview with Interview magazine as a kid who was “always trying to make people laugh and always the center of attention.” He decided to pursue acting seriously at age 17, despite his father’s hopes that he would become a hockey player and lawyer.
He honed his craft at the New York Film Academy, completing a year-long conservatory program. Lofranco’s first major role came in the 2013 indie romantic comedy At Middleton, where he played Conrad Hartman, a high school senior touring a college campus alongside stars Andy García and Vera Farmiga.
His breakthrough came with the biographical crime drama Jamesy Boy, portraying troubled teenager James Burns. He later appeared in 2014’s Unbroken, 2015’s Home, and his final screen credit, 2018’s Gotti, starring opposite John Travolta and Kelly Preston. Over the course of his career, Lofranco earned seven acting credits.
