SpaceX gears up for another Starship launch with major mission milestones on the list

SpaceX's giant Starship spacecraft is ready for another launch from South Texas and will be the second this year. The launch was postponed from Friday to Monday evening after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) gave their approval.

It follows the earlier test in January, which ended with the vehicle exploding mid-flight. But that demonstration did build on a key success—in the January test, it became the first time a Super Heavy booster returned to the launch pad.

The four Starlink simulators, which are weights and sizes of the next-generation satellites, will be launched into a suborbital orbit and are expected to destroy during the reentry.
